  Cultural activities The students are encouraged to take part in various cultural activities like music, drama, debate, quiz competitions etc. Our students have own several prizes at the University and National level competitions in the past. The Cell is headed by Vice President Cultural. The Institute organize every year cultural activities on the days like Republic & Independence Day, Institute Annual & Foundation Day, Student welcome, Saraswati ,Ganesh & Viswakarma Puja, Utkal Divas etc.
  Sports activities

PIET has constituted a Sports Cell with the aid and advice of qualified and experienced coach and sportsmen, which, through various outdoor and indoor games keeps the students physically fit and mentally alert. The Institute has cricket & football fields and basket ball, lawn tennis, volleyball & badminton courts. Our students have brought laurels to the Institute at University and State level competitions.

  Literary activities Every year Organizing several literary activities for school level students and planned to conduct literacy programme near by villages.
  Magazine / Newsletter The yearly magazine will be publish very soon and planned to launch monthly news letter.
  Technical activities / TechFest National Seminar / Workshops conducting time to time within Institute premises
  Industrial Visits / Tours The Institute have a Industry Institute Interface Cell which programmes and plans the industrial tours and visits of students as well as faculty.
